Activities

An Activities Co-ordinator attends the home three or four afternoons a week. In-house activities include the following: -

Musical movement; table & ball games; artwork; discussion groups; table games; poetry reading; handicrafts and much, much more. Music features hugely in our programme and outside entertainers perform all types of music. In addition, a touring theatre company visits four times a year.

Family and friends are more than welcome to join in. An activities programme is circulated to all Residents and a copy can be found in the foyer or at Reception.

Interdenominational Holy Communion is given by the local clergy and everyone is invited to attend. Personal visits from the clergy are welcomed.

Visitors

Family and friends are always made very welcome and encouraged to visit, stay for a meal and spend time together. Staff will always be on hand to answer questions and tea or coffee is available upon request. Woodside Hall is constantly endeavoring to improve the service offered to Residents and Visitors. We welcome any suggestions for change or any comments you may wish to make.

Hairdressing & Chiropody

A hairdresser and registered chiropodists regularly visit Woodside Hall and appointments can be made upon request. Dental, optometric and physiotherapy treatment can also be arranged. (We regret that these 'extras' are not included in the fees.)
